SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Airports are expected to be stuffed with travelers flying for Thanksgiving.
Experts estimate Tuesday and Wednesday will be among the busiest travels days of the year.
TSA officials are reminding the public to arrive early for flights and to anticipate long lines at ticket counters and security.
"We're asking passengers to arrive early, to check your bags, and make sure items that you have are allowed," TSA spokesman Nico Melendez said.
If you're not sure what's against the rules, there's an app for that. The TSA has released a free mobile application featuring 24/7 travel information and tips.
