SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego police Monday sought two men who followed two children into their City Heights home, threatened them and their mother with a handgun, then ransacked the house.
The pair entered the house in the 3200 block of Menlo Avenue near Thorn Street shortly after 6:30 p.m. Sunday, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.
They forced the family into a closet, then tore through the house before fleeing with stolen property, he said, adding that no one was hurt.
The robber with a handgun was described as a bald Hispanic man of about 34, around 6 feet and 190 pounds, wearing a dark blue beanie and round, thin glasses.
Police said the other robber was a white or Hispanic in his 40s who stands around 5 feet 3, has a mustache, a tattoo on his left ear and wore a dark blue beanie and a blue sweatshirt.
