Police apprehend woman shooting toy gun in traffic

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - San Diego police were called to East Village Monday after reports of a woman firing a weapon in the middle of traffic.

It happened at 13th and Imperial. When police arrived, the woman tossed the weapon and took off. It turned out to be a toy gun.

Police caught up with the woman and she was taken to county mental health for evaluation.
