SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A sex offender convicted in the death of San Diego State student Donna Jou is heading back to prison.
John Burgess was sentenced to four years Wednesday after pleading no contest to being a felon in possession of ammunition.
In 2009 Burgess pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jou, 19, who he met through Craigslist. He served half of a five-year sentence and was released in December.
Police found the ammunition during an investigation into another Craigslist ad Burgess posted after his release.
