SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - This weekend, the Metropolitan Transit Service teamed up with the San Diego Food Bank and Albertsons stores for a one-of-a-kind holiday food drive event.
Buses were parked outside 15 Albertsons stores across the county Saturday for the "Stuff The Bus" food drive.
Folks brought bags filled with donated food, which was then placed on board the buses.
MTS officials say the "Stuff The Bus" event keeps getting bigger every year.
This year's goal is to collect 15,000 pounds of food for San Diego's less fortunate.
