Driver arrested after crashing into parked cars in East Village

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man is facing hit-and-run charges after crashing into several parked cars in the East Village.

Police say, he got into a physical altercation with several people at the corner of 15th and K Streets around 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

He then got into his car and drove off.

The driver struck one car as he turned onto 16th Street and then hit three more vehicles parked north of Imperial Avenue.

The driver was arrested for hit-and-run and may face additional charges.

Police are investigating what started the fight.
