SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Officers from the San Diego Police Department delivered a little Christmas cheer to a South Park family in need.
Monday, Santa joined the officers to deliver a Christmas tree, ornaments, lights and a Christmas dinner to the Goulding family.
Brisa Goulding is a single mother, her husband passed away recently, and the family is struggling financially.
The visit from officers brought some much-needed happiness to her two children.
The police department delivered Christmas decorations and meals to nine families around San Diego this year.
The money used to pay for the trees and food is donated by the officers themselves.
