Extra work for crews on scene of house fire in Lakeside

LAKESIDE (CNS) - Crews battled a house fire in Lakeside early Wednesday morning, but no injuries were reported.

Flames broke out at 12188 Los Amigos Way at 4:24 a.m., according to a Heartland fire dispatcher.

Firefighters extinguished the fire in about an hour and had to knock down the home's chimney in the process.

It was unclear how many, if any, residents were displaced.

The cause was under investigation.
