"Holiday Baskets" provide food, supplies for people and their pets

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Both people and animals in need will benefit from the annual "Holiday Baskets" program at the Del Mar Fairgrounds happening Friday through Sunday.

The community resource center provides food, clothing and other essentials for more than 1500 low-income households.

The Rancho Coastal Humane Society is distributing pet food and supplies so that families and pets can stay together.

RCHS distributes free goods as part of its pet food bank the first and third Saturday of each month.
