Driver crashes into patrol car during separate DUI investigation

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Two people are facing DUI charges after a mishap with a patrol car in El Cajon and it was all caught on camera. 

Around 2 a.m., officers on routine patrol stopped a car at State route 125 and Lemon Avenue on suspicion of DUI.

During the investigation, another vehicle hit the patrol car.

No one was injured, but both the original suspect and the driver that collided with the patrol car were arrested on DUI charges.
