CARLSBAD (CBS 8) - A decision about a "fork in the road" art piece in Carlsbad has reached a proverbial fork in the road.
In mid-October, Chuck Carroll, a retired math and science teacher, mounted a wooden fork at the intersection of Levante Street and Anillo Way in south Carlsbad. The city removed the fork, calling it a hazard.
On Tuesday, the Cultural Arts Office issued a recommendation that the fork be permanently removed. A final decision will be made by the Carlsbad Arts Commission in January.
