1 person injured in Sunset Cliffs house fire

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - One person was injured in a house fire in San Diego's Sunset Cliffs neighborhood early Monday, authorities said.

The fire, near Cordova Street and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, was reported just after 2 a.m., according to a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher. Crews had the flames knocked down by 2:25 a.m., she said.

The cause was under investigation, and a damage estimate was pending.

The extent of the injury was not immediately available, though it did not appear to be life-threatening, the dispatcher said.
