SAN DIEGO (CNS) - City, county, state and federal offices will be closed Tuesday for the Christmas holiday.
In the city of San Diego, city administrative offices will be closed, as will recreation centers, libraries and swimming pools. The Miramar Landfill will be closed, and refuse collection will be delayed by one day the rest of this week.
Balboa Park will be open, but all of the park's public buildings will be closed.
Parking meters, time restrictions on parking on streets and yellow zones within the city of San Diego will not be enforced on Tuesday, Dec. 25. Red, white and blue zones however will continue to be enforced.
Torrey Pines and Balboa Park golf courses will be open normal hours, though holiday rates will apply.
County of San Diego offices, parks, libraries and animal shelters will also be closed.
City of El Cajon offices and recreation centers are closed through Jan. 1.
The Metropolitan Transit System will operate its buses and trolleys on a Sunday schedule, with trains running every half-hour. Express bus routes will not be run, except for Express Route 20.
North County Transit District buses and trains will operate on a Sunday schedule.
