Robber hits Scripps Ranch Wells Fargo branch

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A bank branch in Scripps Ranch was robbed Wednesday and the suspect got away with an undetermined amount, San Diego police said.

The suspect slipped a demand note to a teller at the Wells Fargo bank at 9996 Scripps Ranch Blvd. shortly after noon, and was given an undetermined amount, San Diego police Officer Dan Lasher said.

The robber then ran out, Lasher said.

Police described the suspect as a white or Middle Eastern man in his mid-30s who was about 5-feet 7-inches tall and weighed around 180 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
