SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Thieves broke into a K-Mart store in Mission Valley early Thursday and stole an automated teller machine, police said.
The break-in at 8730 Rio San Diego Drive was reported at 2:46 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
An unknown number of thieves smashed a window in order to get inside the store, Stafford said in a statement.
It was not immediately clear how much cash was inside the ATM at the time of the theft.
