San Diego beaches under a high surf advisory

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – Local beaches are under a high surf advisory through 2 p.m. Sunday.

The advisory was issued at 2:00 p.m. Saturday for the beaches from Cardiff By The Sea all the way to the U.S. Mexico border.

The swell will ease up Sunday evening, but another one should arrive on New Year's Day and last through Thursday.
