A look back at the Adopt 8 kids of 2012

Posted: Updated:

This past year on Adopt 8, we featured 34 children - kids who are considered "difficult to place," for various reasons.

We are happy to share with you that many of these kids are enjoying the holidays with their new families, but sadly 10 of the children we profiled in 2012 still have no family to call their own.

In the above Adopt 8 video, Photojournalist Ann Marie Spaulding and Marcella Lee take a look back at the children featured in 2012.

Since Adopt 8 first aired in November 1999, 675 foster children have been featured with 441 of these kids now in a forever home.

And we thank the wonderful families in San Diego who have opened up their homes and hearts to expand their families through adoption.
