One man shot at Oceanside apartment complex

OCEANSIDE (CBS 8) - Oceanside police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital late Tuesday night.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 400 block of Grant Street.

The victim was reportedly shot in the chest and found lying on the ground. He was rushed to a hospital by helicopter, and as of this report his condition has not been released

The motive for the shooting is unclear and there are no suspect descriptions at this time.
