Condé Nast Traveler’s readers have honored five Auberge Resorts by naming them to the publication’s 2013 Gold List. Three properties garnered Platinum Circle status, including The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina, Esperanza in Cabo San Lucas, and the Napa Valley flagship, Auberge du Soleil, the highest ranked hotel in Northern California. Additionally, Calistoga Ranch and Solage Calistoga, both located in Napa Valley, were included in this year’s list.

Featured in the January 2013 issue, the 19th annual Gold List comprises an exclusive collection of the world’s finest hotels, resorts and cruise lines as selected by readers on the annual Readers’ Choice survey. Hotels are rated based on the quality of rooms, service, food, location, design and activities. A hotel must meet a minimum number of responses, determined by the magazine, in order to be included in the list. A consecutive five-year run on the Gold List results in the prestigious Platinum Circle distinction.
