Fire officials investigating Lakeside garage fire

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Fire crews quickly extinguished a fire in Lakeside Wednesday morning.

Firefighters arrived at a home in the 9400 block of Riverview Avenue just after 9 a.m.

Officials say the flames were put out quickly. The main house had only minor smoke damage.

One person was home at the time. He was woken up by neighbors and got out of the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
