Woman rescued from Cowles Mountain

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - San Diego firefighters had to rescue a woman who was injured on Cowles Mountain.

It happened just before 3 p.m. Thursday. The unidentified 62-year-old woman was airlifted after breaking her leg while on a hike.

She was transferred to a waiting ambulance, then taken to the hospital.

There was no word on her condition.
