RANCHO SANTA FE (CNS) - A pug-Pekinese mix displaced by Hurricane Sandy and brought to the Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe was adopted Friday by a SeaWorld Rescue crew member who fell in love with the pint-sized pet during a cross-country flight.
Jessica DeCoursey of Virginia officially adopted Lassie after veterinarians at the Helen Woodward Animal Center checked her out Friday morning.
