San Diego boater arrested after running aground

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man from San Diego has been arrested on suspicion of sailing his boat while drunk, after the vessel ran aground in Laguna Beach.

The 30-foot sailboat, called "Why Not," got stuck in the surf zone.

According to police, the boat's owner, 47-year-old Stephen Fryer, refused to get off the vessel and lifeguards had to remove him by force.
