SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A judge has lowered bail for a woman accused of driving drunk in a deadly crash.
April Thompson, 23, was being held on a $250,000 bond. That was reduced to $150,000 Tuesday morning.
Thompson is facing several charges, including gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI. Authorities say she was driving a truck the wrong way on Highway 52 when she slammed head-on into a car, killing the other driver.
Tuesday's hearing also made Thompson eligible to be screened for electronic monitoring or home confinement.
