SAN DIEGO (CNS) - One person suffered minor injuries Wednesday when a compact sedan crashed through the front window of a Paradise Hills barbershop.
The accident in the 2300 block of Reo Drive was reported about 10:15 a.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Medics took the driver to Kaiser Hospital, SDFRD spokesman Maurice Luque said. An eight-year-old child who was getting his hair cut inside the shop narrowly escaped injury.
Investigators set the structural damage, which apparently was limited to the smashed window, at $6,000. The crash also ruptured a water line, according to Luque. There were no reports of significant flooding problems.
