Vaccinations encouraged for early flu season

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Flu season is officially here.

Health experts are seeing a major spike in cases all over the country, and here in San Diego, it's even turned deadly.

The Centers for Disease Control says this is the earliest start to the flu season in over a decade, but it's still not too late to get your flu shot.
