Chargers to interview former Bears coach Lovie Smith

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Former Chicago Bears Coach Lovie Smith is expected to interview with the Chargers Friday.

Sources tell NFL.com that Smith was spotted at the airport waiting for a flight to San Diego.

The Bolts hired new General Manager Tom Telesco earlier this week, but so far have not made any decisions on who should replace former head coach Norv Turner.

Smith led the Bears to the Super Bowl in 2006 but was fired by the team in December.
