Volunteers clean up San Diego Estuary

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Our city is more beautiful because of the efforts of more than 200 volunteers who joined in for an annual clean-up effort at the San Diego Estuary.

Volunteers in kayaks scoped out the shoreline while people on bikes on skateboards moved along the San Diego River Trail.

In four hours, they collected 2,700 pounds of trash and 500 pounds of recycling.
