Parolee taken into custody in University Heights

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Police Wednesday arrested a parolee-at-large who they believe may have been armed with a gun.

The man was taken into custody before noon Wednesday in the 4500 block of Cleveland Avenue.

Police were called to the scene when a parole agent spotted the man and asked for help to bring him in.

Officers at one point believed the man may have had a gun, but no weapon was found.
