SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man responding to an ad on Craigslist for a camera lens met the alleged seller, who threatened him with a handgun and forced him to drive him to his bank.
The attempted robbery occurred at 2:08 p.m. at 5000 Narragansett Ave., Wednesday said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The victim drove the suspect to a bank, but the teller line was too long, so the suspect told the victim to drive away before the suspect could get any money.
The suspect was described as in his mid-20s, 6 feet tall, with thin build and wearing a hoodie.
There were no injuries, Stafford said.
