Driver pulled over, arrested for parole violation

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A driver was taken into custody in Lakeside Friday after authorities found there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

It happened around noon at Los Coches Road and Old Highway 80.

The California Highway Patrol says the man was pulled over for tinted windows. They then learned he was wanted for violating his parole.

He was arrested on the spot.
