San Diego woman heads to DC for Obama inauguration

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - President Obama's second inauguration is less than two days away and one San Diego woman is traveling to Washington D.C. to share in the festivities for the second time.

"Being there in person, there's nothing like it," says Madeleine Falco. "The exhilaration and the feeling of oneness and you really feel like you're part of something bigger than ourselves."

Madeleine Falco also attended the 2009 inauguration. This year, she won tickets in a lottery sponsored by Congresswoman Susan Davis.

Falco says she's all ready to go. She even stocked up on hand warmers, although she may not need them this time.
