Oceanside Public Library hosts community resource fair

OCEANSIDE (CBS 8) - The Oceanside Public Library hosted its winter community resource fair Wednesday to educate the public about free and low-cost help available to them.

"We collect information, so we have big lists, long lists of agencies and organizations that can help," librarian Monica Chapa-Domercq said.

Several hundred people attended Wednesday's free event. It featured more than 25 local agencies that provide services like employment assistance, health care and housing services.

Representatives from several organizations that provide resources for members of the military also attended.
