SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Comic-Con organizers have announced that tickets will go on sale on February 16 at 9 a.m., but you have to pre-register.

Ticket buyers must set up a member ID by February 11.

The system is known for glitches and server crashes and the member ID program helps prevent any problems.

Comic-Con will be held at the Convention Center July 18 through July 21.
