Culver's and RRVBC to partner in thanking blood donors in February.

Throughout the month of February anyone that registers to donate blood with the Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) will receive a coupon for a free Pint of frozen custard from Culver’s (while supplies last). As part of Culver’s “Give a Pint, Get a Pint”, donors will be offered a coupon provided by Culver’s. Coupons are good for vanilla, chocolate or flavor of the day. Coupons are good at participating Culver’s locations.

Donating blood is safe and simple. You are most likely able to donate if you are at least 17 years old (16 year olds may donate with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in general good health. Persons taking medications are not necessarily disqualified. There are four community donor centers throughout the area (Belvidere, Freeport, Rockford) as well as many mobile blood drives.
