EL CAJON (CBS 8) - Police are looking for two men after a brutal armed robbery at an El Cajon tattoo shop.
It all started around 2 a.m. at Classic Tattoo in the 1000 block of Broadway.
The owner told authorities was doing renovations when he fell asleep and woke up to find two black males with guns.
He tried to fight back but ended up hurt.
"They took about $800 from my pocket and tried to steal my bike. I confronted them, they pistol whipped me. Hurt me pretty bad but I'll be alright," says shop owner Jimmy Blue.
Authorities surrounded the shop, but both suspects had already taken off.
The owner was treated for his injuries at the scene.
