Border Patrol agents on trial for public sex acts

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Testimony continued Tuesday in the trial of two Border Patrol agents accused of committing sex acts in front of children at a Cirque du Soleil performance in Del Mar.

A witness testified Tuesday that Kallie Helwig and Gerald Torello threatened him and his wife when they confronted the pair about their behavior.

"I heard the male say talk to her again like that and I'll kill you," the witness said.

The witness later became emotional on the stand when he described the moment Helwig punched his wife.

"I see the girl turning around and she's just turning around with a hook and she just hits my wife," he said.

Both agents face up to a year in jail if convicted.
