SAN DIEGO (CNS) - An early morning fire caused about $150,000 in damage to a two-story La Jolla home Sunday and displaced five people who lived there, fire officials said.
The non-injury fire in the 300 block of Gravilla Street near La Jolla Boulevard was reported about 3:15 a.m., and firefighters had it knocked down in 25 minutes, a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.
The fire caused about $100,000 in damage to the property and another $50,000 in damage to its contents, the dispatcher said. What sparked the blaze remained undetermined, he said.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the home's five adult residents, the dispatcher said.
