SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A woman is recovering and her attacker is still at large after a stabbing in downtown.
It happened around 10 p.m. Sunday at a high-rise apartment building in the 900 block of 16th Street.
Police and K-9 units responded to reports that a woman was stabbed inside a unit on the sixth floor.
When they got there, they found the victim lying in the fetal position with multiple stab wounds to the chest and thigh.
She was taken to the hospital. No word right now on her condition.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
