SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Police Saturday were on the lookout for a man and woman who carjacked a woman in San Diego's Talmadge neighborhood.
The suspects approached the 54-year-old woman at 4544 Winona Ave. around 6:40 p.m. Friday and punched her several times, took her keys and then drove off in her silver 2006 Mercedes-Benz C230 sedan, according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford, who said the woman complained of head pain.
The car's California license plate number is 6RHB253, he said.
The man was described as in his 30s with a medium build and short black hair and the woman as in her 20s with a ponytail, Stafford. Both were said to be black.
More detailed descriptions were not available.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled Tuesday for a former San Diego police officer accused of groping four women during pat-down searches last year.
