Filner: Padres games not on Time Warner "Not Acceptable"

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Mayor Filner weighed in on the ongoing television dispute between the Padres broadcaster and Time Warner Cable.

Roughly half the city was unable to watch Padres games on Fox Sports San Diego last year because both sides can't agree on broadcast fees.

The Mayor says he is willing to press the issue to get the games on air for the upcoming season.

City Councilwoman Sherri Lightner recently announced plans to hold public hearings if the dispute is not resolved.
