Loud noises during military exercises at Camp Pendleton Monday

CAMP PENDLETON (CBS 8) - If you live near Camp Pendleton, you may be hearing some loud explosions Monday.

Marines are using C-4 to practice clearing minefields as part of a combat simulation.

Base officials say the mine-clearing exercises will last into the evening.
