Shots fired during road rage incident on Highway 52

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - One person is under arrest Tuesday after shots were fired during a road rage incident in Tierrasanta.

It happened at about 4:30 p.m. along Highway 52 near Santo Road. The California Highway Patrol says a driver opened fired on another driver as the vehicles headed east toward Santee.

The victim driver took down the license plate and gave it to the CHP. Officers traced it to a home in Spring Valley, where a suspect was taken into custody.

No injuries were reported.
