SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - While San Diego County prepares to deal with scattered showers and some snow at higher elevations, other areas of the country are getting hammered by heavy snowfall and that means as many as 1,000 flights could be cancelled Wednesday and delays are already taking place at Lindbergh Field.

As of this report, one cancellation has been reported at Lindbergh Field.

News 8's Angelique Lizarde files this video report with details for travelers headed to San Diego's airport.
