A passion for storytelling and adventure is why News 8 Reporter Nathalie Basha loves broadcast news.
Originally from Los Angeles, Nathalie moved to San Diego and graduated from Torrey Pines High School. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Nathalie began her broadcast career at E! Entertainment as guest host of E! News Now.
Nathalie moved on to combine her journalism background, knowledge of history, and quick wit to create, produce, edit and host "Why World," a webisode series, which garnered rave reviews.
It didn't take long for Nathalie to return to the fast-paced world of television. Prior to arriving at News 8, she launched "Living Dayton at WDTN in Dayton, Ohio, a one-hour, live talk show where Nathalie handled co-hosting and producing duties.
An avid traveler and thrill seeker, Nathalie has backpacked nearly every continent and visited dozens of countries. She loves exploring San Diego's hidden treasures and bringing unique stories to you.
