SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 21-year-old man was shot in an apparent gang-related attack in Otay Mesa early Tuesday, police said.
The shooting was in a driveway in the 3500 block of Chanute Street and was reported about midnight, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
The victim was struck once in the shoulder and suffered a collapsed lung but was expected to survive, Delimitros said in a statement.
One man wearing a black hoodie and another in a black T-shirt were seen running away following the gunfire, he said, and gang detectives were investigating.
