Suspect arrested after running and hiding from police

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A wild chase leads to a suspect barricaded inside the bathroom of a local business.

The chase started around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at Euclid Avenue and 54th Street. The chase lasted about 15 minutes and ended at a smoke shop in the 6000 El Cajon Boulevard, after the suspect eventually surrendered to police.

The suspect faces several charges including auto theft and evading police. Additional drug-related charges are possible.
