Gas leak forces evacuations in North Park

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A gas leak forced evacuations in the community of North Park Thursday afternoon.

It happened in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

According to firefighters, the leak is coming from a three-inch pipe, and considered to be a large leak.

The leak was reparied and people were allowed back into their homes and businesses just before 4 p.m.

The cause of the leak being investigated.
