Woman hit by car in El Cajon

EL CAJON (CBS 8) - A woman is recovering Saturday after getting hit by a car in El Cajon.

It happened this morning near 2nd Street and East Madison Avenue.

Even though the woman suffered only minor injuries, she was taken to Sharp Hospital in Kearny Mesa as a precaution.

The driver of the car that hit the woman remained at the scene, and is cooperating with police investigators.
