Victims of wrong way driver making progress

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Family members injured by a wrong way driver on state route 52, are making progress.

According to her soccer coach, Cathedral Catholic high school student Taylor Cunningham briefly woke up from her coma Friday.

The 17-year-old is still in Sharp Memorial hospital's intensive care unit. Her mother and two younger sisters are also making excellent progress toward a full recovery.

The four were injured last Sunday when a suspected drunk driver hit their van head-on.
